The demonstration train showing war relics captured
from the Germans was here Saturday with speakers who
spoke in the interest of the third Liberty Loan. A parad
was contemplated led by the Albany band in which all the
different interprises of the city were to appear wit i
the Red Cross most prominent of all, but it rained that
plan out. In spite of the rain there were more
people in town that day than has been in many a day.
Sunday has passed with its usual happenings except
perhaps a larger crowd at the evening service. Threatening
rain thinned the congregation in the morning
service.
Nearly 2 inches of rain fell Friday and Saturday.
It is a blessing we can hardly estimate and every body
is highly delighted over the prospects.
