BillW Sunday is great: He won me the first time I
laid ay eybs on him
looks like a man through and
through, intensely earnest even in his walking upon the
platform giving me the impression that he had just been
in the presence of the Almighty that moment,no grandstand
playing.entered his sermon with vim,and his whole
manner was that of giving his audience proper credit as
gentlemen and ladies
juTt after the, sermon started
quite, a nunbe? o people canm,in^dif sturbing him somnwha
but never a repmad from hi,;once a bby cried and
continued its whining for a. couple of minute
he ignored
it
but just behind him sat "M"Sunday who came as near
looking a rebuke when disturbances occurred as I evr.
saw. This wea all in the 2 p.*, service at the First e
.hristian ChurOh, his subeot being the 234 Pal .a .
That night was at the 'tX Colleseum, and suoh preaching
as I never heard' In neither sermon wps there a thing
said or done that I myself would be unwilling to do or
say. All I want to say is that I am strong for hima
The services here yesterday were both rather .poorXy
. attended, due to the sloppy condition of the ground It
snowed here and in all this northwestern part ,of
theState
instead of raining as it did at hoen, and the snow
is still on the ground in spots, melting * litAie
each day and keeping the top of the ground at maximum
moisture. Next Sunday we will have our quarterly
communion service and we are in hopes that the whole
membership will be out as well as others who are in the
habit of attending our church. I have a room in the
New Western Hotel with a stove and a nice table, and am
taking my meals with Mrs.Meadows. Think I'm fixed up
rather well thiS time.
It has turned a good deal warmer now and we are
having some of the most beautiful clear weather I ever
saw. It can be so pretty out in this country.
