A.mile or more beyond T.m.we broke an axle and had to
leave the Buick inthe garage for repairs while we
sailed on to Eliasville in Mr.Jarmon's Dodge. Wb were
delayed about 6 hours and the 4th of July was almost

But we made a full week's visit in the 24 hours
left for our visit, and the next day was about as
noisy and eventful as the 4th. On our return,Ala

breaking Ada's nose on the bow of the car top. I car
near fainting and was hardly able to drive on in to
town. wf finally got Ada's nose washed add the oar
out of the garage wnd on the road for Stamford again,
just after Sundown, arriving in Stanmford about 12 that
night. Next morning at breakfast the ladies were able
to eat a hearty meal and afterwards to go with me to
the depot,so I left for Spur with a reasonably clear
conscience.
