Robert Nation graduated from Tarleton in May 2010. As a PDIII student
he was a superb student, intern, class role-model, and class leader. While
teaching in a fourth grade classroom during week in the schools the teach-
ers he worked with couldn't say enough about his skills and ability to en-
gage the students. Watching him work with the teachers and students was
a pleasure. As a PDIV student teacher he was fabulous (mentor teacher!).
He worked hard to produce a quality Teacher Work Sample, but most im-
portantly he wanted the unit to be great for his students. His efforts are
reflected in the document.
This past fall Robert became a kindergarten teacher in Killeen ISD. He is
continuing to wow the administration, his colleagues, his students and
their parents with his skills as a new teacher. He continues to be a good
will ambassador for TSU! He is representing the teacher certification pro-
gram at TSU well.
