Marshall especially prizes the instruc-
tions received in his lectures.
Customers of the Guest Beauty
Shoppe frequently express their appre
ciation for the excellent equipmen tan
beauty service to be had in this shop.
To assure her customers that she in
return appreciates their loyalty and
confidence Mrs. Guest is more than
happy to go to the added expense of
not only installing new equipment
frequently but also to send her opera-
tors to the many Beauty Schools fre-
quently held over the state that she
may better serve her customers. Adv.
INEXPENSIVE MACHINE
COVER ADDS TO ROOM
"My new machine cover makes an
excellent table top and does a good
job of covering up the unsightly part
of a sewing machine," Mrs. H. H|
Rhadle, bedroom demonstrator of the
Aspermont home demonstration club,
told Jean Day, home agent, during a
visit to see her bedroom.
"1 made the top of the machine
cover from a piece of two-ply board
which I had on hand, and the skirt
which hangs to the floor on the
front and both ends, is made of navy
I>Iu<. print," continued Mrs. Shadle.
"The skirt is box-pleated and the
top has a valance trimmed in narrow
white tatting."
These machine covers are being
made by women who have treadle
sewing machines that collect dust, and
look unattractive in a bedroos. The
machine covers convert the machine
into a dressing table effect when no;
in use, and when the machine is used,
the cover slips off easily. By usin;,
materials on hand, Mrs. Shadle made
hers for about fifty cents.
Bids will be received by the City
of Aspermont on the following sec-
ond-hand pipe:
From 1,000 to 1,600 feet of one-
inch pipe—in good shape. About 500
feet of 1% inch pipe (this pipe can
only be used for posts).
Bids to be in by April 30th at 6
P. M., at so much per foot. Proceeds
go to Pheonix Club.
