you need to do it, and be sure you
do it right."

Correction
The Sheriff's Department has
informed The Rio Grande Herald
that an error made by the
department in writing up the
weekly Sheriff's Report for the
Nov. 19 issue of The Herald needs
to be corrected.
In the weekly's Sheriff's Report
for Nov. 9-15 that was provided by
the Sheriff's Department to The
Rio Grande Herald, Hector Gomez,
Jr., was erroneously listed in the
report as having been charged with
indecency with a child
In fact, the Sheriff's Department
informed The Herald late last week
that Gomez was arrested on Nov
11 for public intoxication.
The Department spokesman said
that Fernando Torres, 47, a resi-
dent alien from Mexico was the
person arrested on Thursday, Nov
12 for allegedly committing the
offense of indecency with a child.
Torres had not been listed in the
report for the Nov. 19 issue.
