some other essential but prosaic chore
which leaves little time for gala
birthday celebrations; and
Whereas, The Members of this
House wish to substitute as best they
can for the members of his family
in celebrating this 39th Birthday An-
niversary of Willis J. Whatley; now,
therefore, be it
Resolved, That the House of
Representatives of the 60th Legisla-
ture extend congratulations to Willis
and wish him a long series'of celebra-
tions of his 39th Birthday, when the
favorite girls of his life-Patti,
Margaret and Wendell Ann-will be
able to observe the gala event with
him; and, be it further
Resolved, That a copy of this Re-
solution, under the Seal of the House
of Representatives, be prepared for
Representative Whatley as a memen-
to of his first 39th Birthday and in
token of the esteem of his colleagues
and friends.

adopted unanimously.
On motion of Speaker Barnes, the
names of all Members of the House

stitutional rule requiring bills to be
read on three several days be sus-
pended and that House Bill No. 1
be placed on its second reading and
passage to engrossment and on its
third reading and final passage.
