HOUSE JOURNAL
"Our Father in heaven, though we
are experienced in the ways of men,
we know too little of Thy ways. But
Thou knowest us by name and by our
needs. We pray now that you would
turn our wayward minds and hearts
to Thee.
Forgive the faults and failures of
the past and make us free from them.
Forgive our slowness to see the good
in others and to see the evil in our-
selves. In our differences help us to
be kind; in our agreements help us
to be humble that Thy will might be
done through us. Amen."
(Mr. Cory in the Chair)
TO GRANT PERMISSION FOR USE
OF THE HALL OF THE HOUSE
BY THE TEXAS JUNIOR CHAM-
BER OF COMMERCE

with its own members filling offices
of Members of the House of Rep-
resentatives and of the Senate; and

ideas of the Texas Junior Chamber
of Commerce and commends its mem-
bership for the educational program
being conducted in the interests of
good government; now, therefore, be
it
Resolved, by the House of Repre-
sentatives of the State of Texas, That

the State Capitol on Saturday, Jan-
uary 14, 1967, and again on Sunday,
January 15, in order that this or-
ganization may hold its annual moot
session of the Texas Legislature; and,
be it furtherResolved, That Members of this
House are requested to clear their
desks of all books, papers, and other
articles before the Junior Chamber
of Commerce convenes in moot ses-
sion, so that this organization may
have full use of the Chamber of the
House of Representatives.
The resolution was read and was
adopted without objection.
