On the right, two other solders are talking and behind them, and harnessed horses and trees are visible in the background. The butt end of a rifle is visible in a holder next to the driver's side of the truck. The postcard caption at the bottom reads: "Picking up wounded soldiers after the Battle of San Geronimo, Mex.
