E. W. TILLTON-a man about 25 years old, fair complexion and medium height.
......came to his death from an over dose of opium. Dr. Webb gave information. Body was
found at the National Hotel.

CHARLIE other name unknown-a man about five feet and ten inches high, yellow
complexion, about 30 years, weighs about 150 pounds.
......Charlie, a colored unknown, came to his death from a gunshot wound inflicted on
him by G. W. Hearrison; said wound was on left side of his breast, near the breast bone
about 3 inches lower than the nipple. The body was found at the Black Elephant on
Commerce Street. G. W. Hearrison in jail on 7 February 1890; bond was $1,000; no
sureties listed.
