understood that the organization will be
contested in the courts on the ground tliat

What is the matter with popcorn?
Sin&e our erop expeimenting in Don-
ley county, in 18SQ, we have had
popcorn on the braiu. It makes a
fine fodder, grows without reference
to the weather, and throws out
suckers innumerable. We have one
acre planted and it is growing out
of our knowledge. A small patch
is on a gravely mound and it keepa
up with the procession. 2sext season
we intend to plant Ven acres to the
diminutive eorn. Popcorn is one
of the coming staple crops of the
Panhandle.
