The man, silhoutted against the brightness of the sky is wearing a brimmed fisherman's hat, wears a spyglass on a cord around his neck and wears a coat and pants and rubber boots. The photo includes the signature/maker's mark in the lower left corner that reads, "COPYRIGHT 1907 BY C.H. CLAUDY." The photo is framed with a stained and faded ivory mat.
