was held. The General expressed
a desire to meet his old comrades
in this city, many of whom were in
his brigade during the war. The

was the special invitation to the
school children and youug people
extended by the General to come
and shake hands with him. From
4(10 to 500 children, each carrying
a small ñag, were present in addi-

a special ear for San Francisco.
