said rule is hereby suspended, and this Act shall take effect and
be in force from and after its passage and it is so enacted.

CREATING EDOM INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT
IN VAN ZANDT AND HENDERSON COUNTIES.
H. B. No. 335. ] CHAPTER 12.
An Act creating Edom Independent School District in Van Zandt ani
Henderson Counties.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Texas:
SECTION 1. The Edom Independent School District is hereby
created and established in Van Zandt and Henderson Counties
within the metes and bounds of the present Common County
Line School District No. 93 of Van Zandt and Henderson Counties
with metes and bounds as follows
Beginning at the S. E. corner of the L. Lowery survey, on the
county line between Henderson and Van Zandt Counties; thence
north about 1210 vrs. to the N. E. corner of said Lowery survey;
thence east 250 vrs. to the S. E. corner of the A. B. thence north, at about 200 vrs. passing
the N. W. corner of the W. T. Brown survey, at about 2000
vrs. the N. W. corner of the 0. C. Williams survey; thence east
950 vrs. to the S. W. corner of the L. Grace survey; thence
north, at 1900 vrs. passing the N. W. corner of the W. T.
Lee survey and crossing the S. B. line of the C. S. Morrison
survey, at 2801 vrs. a stake for corner; thence east 950 vrs. to
the E. B. line of said Morrison survey and the W. B. line of the
John Adams survey; thence north 950 vrs. to the N. W. corner
of said John Adams survey; thence east, at 3801 vrs. to the N.
E. corner of said Adams survey, at 3928 vrs. the N. W. corner
of A. B. Eubanks survey; thence north 950 vrs. to the N. W.
corner of said Eubanks survey; thence east 1900 vrs. to the
N. E. corner of same; thence north 950 vrs. to the N. W. corner
of the J. W. Carpenter survey; thence east 950 vrs. to the N.
E. corner of same and the W. B. line of the A. C. Crane survey;
thence south 718 vrs. to the S. W. corner of A. Jones 80 acres
tract in the W. B. line of said Crane survey; thence east 437
vrs. to the S. E. corner of said Jones's 80 acre tract; thence
north 1081 vrs. to the N. E. corner of same in the N. B. line of
2-L aws.
