FAN1NN AND HUNT COUNTIES.
H. B. No. 380.] CHAPTER 15.
An Act creating and establishing a common school district to be known
as Common County Line School District No. 49, composed of parts of
Fannin and Hunt Counties, defining the powers of such district, prescribing
the powers of the county board of school trustees in relation
thereto, and declaring an emergency.
Be It enacted by the Legislature of the State of Texas:
SECTION 1. There is hereby created, of parts of the counties of
Fannin and Hunt, a common county line school district to be known
as Common County Line School District No. 49 of the counties of
Fann'n and Hunt, which district is bounded as follows:
Beginning at a point on the east line of the south N. P. Lawson
Survey, the south line of Ladonia District No. 48: thence west 1344
varas to the northeast corner of the A. J. Erwin Survey; continuing
west 950 varas to the northeast corner of G. H. Nelson Survey;
thence west with north line of G. H. Nelson Survey 920 varas to the
northeast corner of the E. C. Vick Survey; thence west with the
Vick north line 246 varas, more northerly northwest corner of said
survey; thence south 271 varas, southwest corner of southerly .Wm.
Hutchins' Survey; thence west 250 varas southerly northwest corner
of E. E. Vick Survey: thence west 1020 varas to southwest corner of
the above mentioned Hutchins' Survey; continuing west 440 varas
to the east line of R. Godwin Survey; thence south 550 varas, more
or less, to southeast corner of R. Godwin Survey; thence west along
road 1114 varas to southerly N. E. corner of J. W. Dunn Survey
on the south line of Godwin Survey, continuing west 371 varas to
southwest corner of R. Godwin Survey; thence west 685 varas in
inside southeast corner of J. W. Dunn Survey; thence west 234
varas more southerly northwest corner of said survey; thence
south 257 varas, southwest west corner of same; thence south 949
varas southwest corner H. J. Henderson Survey; thence south 1344
varas southeast corner of I. Wiseheart Survey; thence west 295
varas southerly northwest corner of J. H. Reeves Survey; thence
south 154 varas Reeves' S. W. corner, continuing south about 450
varas to Fannin-Hunt county line; thence north 80 E. with said
line about 4100 varas from east line of A. L. Terry Survey to west
line of M. Grergg Survey; thence south with said west line of MI.
Gregg Survey 1101 varas to his southwest corner; continuing south
133 varas to Mrs. M. E. Staleys' S. W. corner; thence west 40 varas;
thence south at 506 varas pass the extreme southwest corner of Mrs.
M. E. Staleys' land, in all south 1000 varas to the S. W. corner of
land belonging to Chiles; thence east with road 208 varas past Chiles'
S..E. corner, at 669 varas a stake in west line of the Guest Survey
on Bob Brackeens' west line; thence south with the west line of
said Guest Survey 120 varas Brackeens' S. W. corner a stake 280
varas north of the S. W. corner of the Guest Survey; thence east
