A lot of people
think the fuel shortage
is owe
A lot of people arc wrong.
Too man\ people think the
most recent fuel shortage ended
when the long lines at the gas
stations disappeared last
summer and the odd-even dale
purchase restrictions in major
Texas cities were lilted.
While the conservation
efforts by motorists and users of
other forms of energy is helping,
the truth is that gas and oil are
still in short supply.
Electric generating plants
are particularly affected by the
continuing shortage of natural
gas. one of the fuels needed to
generate the electric power
you use every day. The more
electricity you use. the more fuel
we need. The bigger the demand
for fuel, the higher the price.
We'd like t<> ask you to
please continue making a habit
of using electricity wisely. Good
energy habits are too important
to neglect.

hen the soft, gentle breezes, beginning to blow
And be warmed by the sun that has melted the snow.
Paint the delicate green of the buds as they grow
And emerge from the trees and the ground;
Then the loveliest season will come into view.
As the pinks and the purples and yellows imbue
Every sweet-scented flower with exquisite hue.
While thé birds all contribute their sound.
From your lessons in Faith, you will then understand
This magnificent scene by the Father, who planned
The renewal of life to be born on the land
When the beauty of spring will abound.

That God once loved a
garden
We learn in Holy writ.
And seeing gardens in the
Spring
I well can credit it.
