.. Mr. Williams points
to the original Io-
,g~i cation of the dankylogs to certain lengths according to the brush. After cutting
these logs, they would roll these logs to the log wag-on pulled
by oxen up a hill to the danky. There they would be put on the
dankv. The dankv was a little locomotive about twelve feet lons
and ten feet wide. It ran on a tram (tracks) where the logs
were carried into Carthage for the purpose of processing the
lumber. This danky was provided by a white man by the name of
R. E, Trabue. The tram was built by the men of the community.4
