Auctioneers this year were Frank Goodwyn and Gene Hol-
lon; both did splendidly, and it is hoped that the Lucky Strike
tobacco firm does not discover their superior qualities and thus
deprive the Association of their services in the years to come.
Others who contributed their service and to whom the Associa-
tion extends sincerest thanks are: Ann Burkett, Sue Tipps, and
Dorothy Louise Fields.
The printed programs for this year evoked much comment,
even to press notices. They were contributed by our distinguished
printer-friend, Carl Hertzog of El Paso, life member of the
Association.
The programs were printed on a rough-weave antique paper.
Script and "gay-nineties" type were used, and the Association
seal was imprinted in ochre. Paper, type, color - all contribut-
ed to the general impression conveyed by the program.
