George E. Shelley, "The Semicolon Court," is a practicing
attorney in Austin, Texas, with offices in the Littlefield Build-
ing. He is a graduate of the Law School of The University of
Texas, a member of the American Bar Association, and a
former president of the Texas Bar Association. He has recently
contributed an article entitled "Some Misconceptions of the
Law," to the Bar Journal.
Howard T. Dimick, "The Bonfoey Case," was born in Marshall,
Texas, and received his education in the South. He served in
the United States Army in World War I and is at present a
resident of Shreveport, Louisiana. He is the author of two
books and has contributed to Plain Talk, The Dial, The Editor,
Psychology, and other periodicals. Mr. Dimick has long been
collecting material on General John Gregg of Alabama and
Texas (for whom Gregg County, Texas, is named), of whom
he plans to write a comprehensive biography.
Ohland Morton, "The Life of General Don Mier of Teran,
as it Affected Texas-Mexican Relations," is Dean of Edinburg
Junior College, Edinburg, Texas.
