The Terrill Medical Institute with J. H. Terrill as Presi-
ident and Howard E. Truax as Vice-President, was an
institution intrenched by long years of disgraceful adver-
tising. The patriarchal face of the "beloved" president
was familiar to many of us in our boyhood days, long before
we were able to read of how he along with the vice-presi-
dent, (its full membership) were giving their time and
ability, unselfishly, to the cause of suffering men and
women. Twenty years ago I stopped off at San Marcos,
Texas, and in the M. K. & T. depot was a large picture of
this old fraud lauding his ability to relieve suffering hu-
manity. He was then located at Dallas, Texas. He was
