Case No. 22.
F. H. Seely, the truss "expert" who "fitted the Czar of
Russia" has recently been called to San Antonio and inci-
dentally called to the courthouse to show why he should
practice medicine without a license. He left the country
turning his aser over to his attorney, paying him five hun-
dred dollars to geday in the case continued indefinitely on the
court docket.
Case No. 23.
Lon H. Herington, a Chiropractic Masseuer, and his wife
blew into our city and opened offices at their residence in
the suberbs of the city. Pretty soon they.were doing a
lucrative business. We sent them a decoy patient and on
the evidence obtained had him arrested for practicing medi-
cine without a license. He was tried in the County Criminal
Court, the verdict of the jury being one hundred and fifty
dollars and one day in the county jail.82
