PRELIMINARY TRIAL.
Lee Thompson was arrested in
Savoy a few days since on the charge
of burglarizing the house of Wm.
Jenkins at Bells and taking therefrom
a side of bacon and five gallons of
native grape wine. He waived exam-
ination before Justioe Hinkle this
morning and was held in a bond of
$300 in each case.
A few civil matters have also been
