(Duty before pleasure)

I wish you could come up here and stay long enough to go around and see our country and town but I don't think you would like it for it has no attractions scarcely that I could ever see. There's a lady here that teaches music and I want to let her see how little she knows and how foolishly she plays. I think if she could hear you once she would quit teaching and go to taking lessons again.

For fear I weary you, I will close.

I shall look for an early and long letter.
