How to Use This Book:
This is primarily a reference book-use the
index. This index is found on the last pages
in the Book, ending on Page 383. If you do
not find the subject in mind, look for a sim-
ilar reference. For example, if you do not find
"Sam Houston State Teachers' College" listed,
look for "college," where you will find refer-
ence to a list of colleges, with information
about each.
Again-
No single volume of practicable size can con-
tain all information about Texas. In each vol-
ume of The Texas Almanac all matter of pri-
mary interest is brought up to date and re-
peated. However, some articles of secondary
interest are not repeated, but new articles and
tables are inserted in their place from year to
year. Keep your volumes of The Texas Alma-
nac of previous years for reference to such
matters. Copies of the 1925, 1926 and 1927
editions are available at 60 cents in paper bind-
ing, or 85 cents bound in cloth.
