1910), Bailey (1919), Cochran (1924), Crane (1927), Dawson (1905), Gaines (1905), Garza (1907), Gray
(1902), Hockley (1921), Hutchinson (1901), Lamb (1908), Lynn (1903), Parmer (1907), Schleicher
(1901), Terry (1904), Upton (1910), Winkler (1910) and Yoakum (1909).
5Real organized from parts of Bandera, Edwards and Kerr in 1913.
4Brooks organized from Hidalgo, Starr and Zapata in 1911; part taken for Jim Hogg in 1913.
6Old Willacy organized from parts of Cameron and Hidalgo in 1911; name changed to Kenedy in
1921; new Willacy organized from parts of Cameron, Hidalgo and Kenedy in 1921.
8Relocation of the one-hundredth meridian (U. S. Supreme Court decision of March 17, 1930),
resulted in the following changes in Texas counties: Part of Harmon County, Okla., acquired by Chil-
dress County, Texas; parts of Beckham and Harmon, Okla., acquired by Collingsworth, Texas; parts of
Ellis and Roger Mills, Okla., acquired by Hemphill, Texas; part of Ellis, Okla., by Lipscomb, Texas;
parts of Beckham and Roger Mills, Okla., by Wheeler, Texas.
TCulberson and Hudspeth organized from parts of El Paso in 1911 and 1917, respectively. sJim
Hogg organized from parts of Brooks and Duval in 1913. "Foard organized from parts of Hardeman
and Knox in 1891. z0Parts of Hidalgo taken to form Brooks and old Willacy in 1911 and present Wil-
lacy in 1921. i1Jim Wells at.d Kleberg organized from parts of Nueces in 1911 and 1913, respectively.
