Meetings
The annual meeting of the Association will be held in Austin, March 6-8,
1975. Historians from throughout the country will deliver papers at the
fifteen different sessions. The program covers many different facets of
Texas history.
Accessions
Accessions to the Southwestern Collection at Texas Tech University in-
clude papers of Preston Smith, Marvin Jones, Morgan Jones, Grover Mur-
ray, Billy Mac Jones, and John A. Hulen, and records of the League of
Women Voters of Texas, the Texas Sheep and Goat Raisers Association,
the Itasca Cotton Manufacturing Company and Weavers Guild, the Mc--
Knight State Tuberculosis Hospital, the Robert E. Nail Foundation, the
Texas Cowboy Reunion (Stamford), and several West Texas railroads.
Students of labor history in the Southwest will find valuable research
material and assistance at the library of the University of Texas at Arling-
ton. Library holdings of primary source material include oral history inter-
views, labor newspapers, and records of such organizations as the Mexican-
American Farm Workers Movement and the Texas AFL-CIO. A guide to
the collections and a descriptive brochure are available on request. Address
