The following letter was addressed by the Judge Advocate to G. H.
Nelson.

For San Antonio Sir
Your communication of the 11th Inst., to Brig. Genl. H. P. Bee enclosing
Affidavits, against Lieut. McDonald'1" was referred to me a few days since.
It is important that more testimony should be obtained against the said
Lieut., and you are therfore directed to use the utmost exertion in obtain-
ing the same.

Marshall for Karnes Co.

Your communication of the 9th Inst. to Brig. Genl. H. P. Bee enclosing
a transcript of the testimony had in the case of one Win. Songworth has
been refered to me.
This Military Commission has adjourned for thirty days from the 16th
