Special Meeting July 10th 1886

The Executive Committe met at Sherman, July 10th 1886 and transacted the following business.
Proposition of C W Batsell accepted.
"To Furnish Fair grounds, erect stand and [gap: illegible] Furnish water and Ice, lights etc. in fact all expenses incidental to the reunion, he [gap: illegible] have the benefit of sale of all booth privileges on the grounds, he also to furnish music for the three days provided the sales of privileges will justify
It was unanimously agreed to have the Picnic three days instead of two
The following Programme was adopted

First Day Wednesday August 11th 1886.

Meet at Fairgrounds in City of Sherman at 10 a.m.
Address of welcome by Judge S. A. Gilbert of Denison at 10:30 a.m.
Basket Dinner.
The evening to be occupied in social amusements such as Base Ball, Croquet, marbles, chats, etc.
Speech by Prof. [abbr: Professor] J. C. Edmunds of Sherman, at 8:30 p.m.
Speech by Dr. [abbr: Doctor] G M Rogers of Sherman

Second Day Thursday August 12th 1886.

Speech by D. O. Hause Esq [abbr: esquire] of Denison at 1030 a.m.
