New changes
In Dalila Una
Pledge season has
begun at McM and this year
some changes have been
made in the pledging pro-
gram The biggest rule
change is that if the pledges
are required to perform a
task. 50 percent of the mem-
bers must also be willing to
do it or it is considered haz-
ing Wearing uniforms car-
rying objects or yelling tor
instance must be done by at
least half ol the members ol
the club if they expect the
pledges to engage in these
activities
Chcrisse riauagau
university counselor and one
ot the sponsors for Women's
Intcrclub said she believes
clubs should focus on inte-
grating pledges into the club
instead of setting them apait
and that the rule changes will
help in this respect
The activities a club
engages in should identify the
whole club flanagan said.
