THIS BIBLIOGRAPHY ON THE HISTORY OF MEXICAN AMERICANS IN
Texas includes scholarly works that focus primarily on the Tejano
experience from the period immediately following the Battle of San Jac-
into (April 21, 1836) to the present. It lists only those studies published
since 1970 and dissertations written since that time.
