Constitutional Amendment
At the Executive Council meeting, September 8, 1984, it was moved
that the Association adopt a constitutional amendment that would
allow the Association to increase the number of its Fellows from sixty
to seventy-five. It was also moved that no more than three new Fellows
be added each year until the total of seventy-five is reached. Both mo-
tions carried. This constitutional amendment will be put to the mem-
bership for a vote at the annual meeting in Fort Worth. The vote on
this issue will be held at the business meeting, March 1, 2 P. M., in the
Times Square Room of the Fort Worth Hilton.

Texas State Historical Association
We have examined the balance sheet of the Texas State Historical
Association as of August 31, 1984, and the related statements of reve-
nue and expenses for the General Fund and the Publication Fund and
the statements of changes in fund balances for the year then ended.
Our examination was made in accordance with generally accepted au-
diting standards and accordingly included such tests of the accounting
records and such other auditing procedures as we considered neces-
