Accessions
Recent accessions at the Southwest Collection at Texas Tech University
include the papers, 191 1-1964, of W. G. DeLoach, who kept a daily diary
for more than fifty years while he lived in North and West Texas; the
papers, 1950-1975, of state representative Elmer Tarbox; and original book
manuscripts from southwestern historians Seymour V. Connor, Odie B.
Faulk, Donald E. Green, Robert S. Weddle, and psychologist A. Donald
Bell.
The Southwest Collection is continuing to microfilm the voluminous

Monahans, and Fort Stockton Chambers of Commerce, and the San Angelo
Board of City Development, and various items documenting the history of
Dyess and Goodfellow Air Force Bases.

been a professor in both the department of history and the graduate school
of library sciences. She will continue to teach in the department of history.

articles on Mexican history and Latin American librarianship. She has been
