the Next day for the Camp but did Not get there and put up with
Anderson Hamlin And Anderson Mounted a horse and went with
me (His wife was Verry hard a ganst the Mormons) after having
went a mile or So We came to a bad Stream He rode a crost then
Sent his horse back for Me I Mounted and Crosted Safe After
having travled a Few Miles We Met Some of the Bretherin from the
Camp With One Waggon Just Started for the bay bout 150 M Now
Elder Thommus had gon to St. Louis to Get some waggons for the
Compony and they ware to be landed at Some port At the Bay this
Company had got some inteligance of him and had Just started with
Six or 7 yoke of Oxen Mr Hamlin went on I Concluded I
would go back and See them Over the Stream When we got there
I councild them to take All the Cattle Off but one yoke then they532
