ASSOCIATION
Founded 1897
HAS FOR ITS OBJECT the discovery, collection,
preservation and publication of historical
material relating to Texas and the Southwest.
HAS PUBLISHED thirty-six volumes of the
Southwestern Historical Quarterly, which to-
day constitutes the best single collection of
historical material on Texas.
GIVES ITS MEMBERS the Quarterly free.
HAS CO-OPERATED with the Library -of the
University of Texas in securing its collection
of Texana, which is the most complete in the
state.
DESIRES TO DOUBLE its membership in order
to increase its usefulness and service to the
state.
WISHES TO PLACE a complete file of the
Quarterly in every High School and City
Library in Texas. Inquiries as to prices
invited.
MAY WE ASK that every member co-operate to
achieve these aims of the Association by
securing at least one new member this year.
Dues are only $3.00 per year. Ten per cent
discount to schools and libraries.
MAY WE ASK that members urge High School
authorities to obtain the Quarterly.
