A line was omitted from Dr. Bolton's article in the July QUAR-
TERLY at the bottom of page 16. The sentences there affected
should read: "This account of the Texas is of special interest
as being the earliest extant, so far as is known, although, as we
have seen, reports of them had reached New Mexico as early as
1650. One of the objective points of the Spaniards both of New
Mexico and Coahuila was thenceforth the Kingdom of the Texas."
